Best of the Blu: Nuevo Vallarta

Arrival Info

After you arrive at the Puerto Vallarta’s Ordaz International Airport (PVR), collect your luggage, and go through customs, you will enter the transportation greeting area. There, you will find the transportation we have already arranged to deliver you to the gorgeous Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. You will see our reserved drivers with smiling faces and holding signs that display the BluPrint Home Loans logo. The drive to the resort will take a quick 15 minutes or so.

Be sure to visit the Best of the Blu Hospitality Table immediately after you check in to the resort so that we can share up-to-the-minute event information as well as give you a special welcome gift. If you do not see the table, the attendant checking you in can share our location.

Our Welcome Reception begins at 6:00 PM, so please be sure to plan your arrival flight and initial activities at the resort accordingly.

We’re chartering a boat for a coastline tour as we all get to know each other. We’ll be sailing to a private beach with opportunities to jump off the boat and enjoy the ocean water! Please be sure to have breakfast at one of the many resort restaurants prior to our meeting.

Friday, January 21

Saturday, January 22

Departure Day

Sadly, we must say “Adios” to Mexico. Standard checkout time at the Grand Velas is noon. No late checkouts can be accommodated, unless you make arrangements in advance (note that the resort charges $75 for late checkout, with that cost to be covered by the guest).

Since we will arrange your return transportation, departure times from the hotel to the airport will be confirmed with you the evening prior to you leaving.

 

COVID Testing & Protocols

Regardless if you are vaccinated or not, to return to the United States, you must test negatively for COVID within 24 hours of your return. These tests will be conducted free of charge for us at the resort on Friday morning, January 21, between 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Further information on the resort’s COVID protocols and where the testing will be held will be shared with you soon via email and also at check-in. In the meantime, you’ll find the Grand Velas COVID response here and up to the date travel requirements here.

Reimbursable Expenses

We love putting this well-earned trip together for you. It is our pleasure to cover the expenses for your lodging, meals, activity, events, and travel. As a reminder, the cost of your airfare and that of your guest is reimbursable (up to $250/person). Your reimbursement forms can be submitted to Concur ASAP. 

Expenses not covered:

  • Baggage fees
  • Flight upgrades
  • Expenses for additional guests above your plus one
  • Any additional excursions/spa treatments/golf, etc. (beyond the one you selected from the three choices during registration)
  • Any food or beverage purchased outside of the scheduled, hosted events
  • Late checkout
